Out of the box, the Android download system is adequately bones. With it, you lot tin can check the progress of your download and, when said download is complete, tap to open the file. That'southward it. But what if you want more? What if you want the ability to pause, resume, bank check download speeds, plus manage multiple downloads and large file downloads?

Fortunately, someone thought of all that and created the Advanced Download Manager (ADM). This particular app offers everything you'll need for ability downloading in Android (and more). ADM is, without a doubt, the single best download manager you'll find for Android. Hither are only a few of things you can do:

  • Download multiple files at once
  • Pause and resume
  • Enter a specific download URL
  • Import download links from a text file
  • Specify where downloads are to exist saved

The one caveat to using ADM is that it doesn't automatically serve as your download director. Y'all can't open up Chrome, tap on a file to download, and have ADM manage the download. Instead, you lot must work with the download manager manually. Fortunately, it'due south incredibly easy to apply.

Installation

Installation is very simple. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Google Play Shop on your device
  2. Search for Advanced Download Director
  3. Locate and tap the entry past DimonVideo Tools
  4. Tap Install
  5. Read the permissions list
  6. If the permissions list is acceptable, tap accept
  7. Allow the installation to consummate

Usage

Using ADM is quite uncomplicated. Upon installation, the service will start and display an icon in the notification window. Drag the notification window downwardly and and then tap the ADM entry. This volition open up the ADM window (Effigy A) where you tin can tap the + button to enter a download URL.

In the URL editor (Figure B), you can either enter a single URL by inbound (or pasting) it in the Link section, and then tap Offset.
